9. Ugh..what is with people? I come from a conservative background where things like homosexuality came up a little too frequently in conversation, so I understand where these people are coming from, and often it's just misguided repressed anger at a minority group..Often I felt the urge to scream, "My god point that judgement microscope on yourselves, or get another freakin' non gay-bashing hobby." Honestly I don't think these right-wing groups care about these issues all that much--at least the higher-ups really don't..It's just a hotbutton issue that their members love to rally around when in reality they really should focus on the real Non-Christian things going on..like say, torture.

11. Those of you that talk about the family and church. Do you realize the bible speaks against casting stones unless you are guilt free and of course none of use are including you!! Unless of course you are god and I think some of you believe you are God becasue you demonstrate the amazing ability to pick and choose parts of the bible that support your bitter views. What a pathetic example to teach others the lesson of hatred and bigotry and in the name of fast food. Like it or not the gay community is here to stay and are creations of god. Read the bible once again, guess what? We were all created by god and equal. I look forward to the day you meet your maker and have to account for your nasty un-godly hateful image. Life is short and it will not be long before you are accountable to the one and only. Of course you will be welcome in hell and will fit right in.

12. not that I completly disagree, but who said it's just the woman's place to cook??? Men can cook too... Aside from that, I think it's all stupid... I'm very much a live and let live type of person, and for people to take a stand against homosexuality in the name of christianity... well it's stupid, really.... first of all, you aren't supposed to judge... correct?? Also, in this wonderful country, we have freedom of religion... so, arguing against homosexuality and gay marriage because it's wrong in the christian community doesn't make much sence does it??

13. Since when is the Big Mac, Wal-Mart, Ford, and other Conservative American icons care diddly-squat about gays? Probably since they realized that targeting the "Gay Market" may be necessary due to a recession. To me this is nothing more than quick thinking advertising agencies looking to go after another "group of people" to see if they are willing to spend $$$ on their products.
As for the AFA....You need to wake-up and take notice. There are many different types of family units, but more importantly all different types of people. You are the reason for hatred and division amongst decent people.

14. I am amazed at how stupid people really are. If this were fifty years ago we'd be arguing about blacks or jews or whomever else. I find the Xtian Right so utterly wrong, so self-serving and psedo-moralistic that it sickens me to the point of leaving the religion, altogether. Here are some historical *facts* that have been found in manuscripts and other archeological digs that intelligent people will understand while the ignorant will find a way to bastardise:

1) Jesus was a jew - a rabbi, actually..
2) He never preached anything but his own religion.
3) Mary Mag was either his wife or lover.
4) Jesus never preached hate.
5) Jesus never preached bigotry.
6) Jesus always preached that one should listen to the "Truth" which can only be found "Within."
7) Constantine rewrote/editied the "bible" for political purposes. There are hundres of "gosples" that were discarded because they spoke of what Jesus believed...see #6.
8) A ruler would never allow #6 to exist because it would give the "power" to the people and not to the king/ruler.
9) The Four gosples are four out of THOUSANDS that have been discovered.
10) The Catholic Church is in the BUSINESS of POWER. (Never forget that)
11) If there really is a devil, I don't know of a better construct for him/it than religion...because...look at all the horror, the bloodshed, the bigotry, the HATE that religion has caused.

This is why I left the church. It's insane. Any group of people who can carry signs like "God Hates Fags" is not only a detestable human being, he/she/it is so far away from Jesus' own teachings: again, see #6.

And what do you think Jesus would say to gay people?? He would show them nothing but love. And if we don't do that, we cannot call ourselves Catholics. Because, remember, you're BORN gay!! 18. The boycott is not about judging at all. It's about not giving your money to companies who in turn use that money to push things you don't believe in. For all you "live & let live"ers who think gay marriage and the other things the LGBT community is pushing for is "no big deal" (as I used to), read about the ex-gay Virginia woman who's former partner is trying to use these pro-gay laws to get custody of the woman's daughter (whom the gay woman has no relation to and has not had a relationship with for years). Read about it at One News Now under "most popular" in an article called Children in the "Gay Marriage" crosshairs.

If you want to give you're money to support this kind of terrorizing of a child, then I guess that's your choice. I have mine as well and that just means I won't be giving my money to McDonalds. They are supposed to be making hamburgers, not trying to shape our culture. When they go back to making hamburgers, I'll bring my family there again.

Get you're facts on what these gay rights groups are actually doing and you'll be SHOCKED to say the least. Oh...and don't cast stones at those who are simply standing for what they believe in.

19. I have 5 Kids and will not be supporting McD's anymore, As for there
stock that will go also.

Gay people can't procreate, all they can do is possible adopt. Good
thing my kids will understand Adam and Eve is what God plan is for us
and not Adam and Steve.

Mcd's needs to understand where there next generation comes from. But
they will not be making money from this family income, or investment
plans.

Other fast food companies think before you take actions like Mcd's
has plan to stick with. McD's..... Yes you may be big and be able to
make it through this over time. But I will always remember and my
wallet too....!
